UninstallButton

Some developers forget to add a software's uninstaller in the Start menu and we end up looking for it in our folders system. Clicking a single button to perform a task is always better than navigating through a thick layer of folders or through the operating system's settings. This is what UninstallButton has to offer. It makes it possible to uninstall programs by targeting their executables or even their shortcuts.

You can download and install the application immediately and it will not cost you a dime. UninstallButton is free and it comes in a 543 Kb package. You can install it on Windows 2000 or any higher version and it will run fine even if you are using an older version of .NET Framework.

A list of installed applications is displayed on the interface. To uninstall something, just select an item in the list and click the Uninstall option on the toolbar, to bring up the selected program's uninstaller. The software may seem similar to the standard Windows uninstaller, but it is not. You can filter the items in the list to show only applications from a certain folder or the ones which are opened in a window. You can also target a program's .exe file to display it immediately in the list, so you can uninstall it.

UninstallButton offers other ways to uninstall a program as well. It places a new option in the context menu, which can be used to target a program immediately. You can even right click a program's desktop shortcut and use this option. The application will be loaded into UninstallButton's interface immediately, where you can uninstall it. An easier way is to simply click and drag an icon over UninstallButton's own shortcut.
